The Three Centuries  label recognises the place that ancient vines have in winemaking in Australia. This wine is a blend of Shiraz from low yielding vineyards in the Heathcote Region that have their origin in three centuries, a component from a 19th century vineyard, through to vineyards planted in the 20th and now 21st centuries. Each vineyard component has its own distinct flavours and as they are of varying ages these differences add complexity and character.

The style is of elegance and complexity of fruit flavours, from ripe fruit but with restraint, leading to palate structures of balance with integrated tannins. Further maturation in fine Nevers, Allier and American small oak barriques, followed by judicious blending produces wine of finesse, excellent length and lingering flavours, with the propensity to age extremely well.

Reserve Blend   Given ideal vintage conditions, vineyard components that further
show the influence of terroir, along with excellent ripeness, and show an abundance of character
are selected for a limited release Reserve selection.

These powerful wines that are destined for cellaring are further matured in bottle prior to release.
